Albert A. Webb Associates (WEBB) is the largest civil engineering firm in Southern California. With over 200 engineers in 10 different disciplines, and 100+ other key employees they provide Southern California with much of its water and development infrastructure.





Website Design
WEBB needed a website focused on culture, services, and featured projects. Along with the Business Development team we spotted and conquered all the obstacles to create a better online experience. Showcasing featured projects in a quick and digestible manner while maintaining the family owned feel and highlighting the culture of the firm.

Print & Marketing Collateral
Working with many different departments I designed several pieces of print & marketing collateral; Proposal templates for WEBB’s 10 different engineering disciplines (125 various designs), Social Media cards (60+), E-blasts, trade show booths, binder sets, just to name a few. All collateral now matched the company’s new visual branding.


Overview
WEBB hired me to help rebrand their firm; they needed everything from the ground up. From a logo revamp to positioning & messaging to art direction and photography, etc. This was followed up by several training sessions to their main Proposal Staff and Business Development.

Positioning
Together with the Business Development team we positioned WEBB as the “go to” firm in Southern California. Providing services from ten civil engineering disciplines from one location at the highest technical level utilizing the most skilled engineers available.
Messaging
We developed unique messaging that separated WEBB from other competitors. Letting customers know WEBB was not just another civil engineering firm. It was the destination. “Strength through history & Innovation” “Committed to superior technical operations” “Leaving our Mark”
Strategy
Now How does WEBB accomplish this? One: Build stronger client relationships. Two: Develop strong partnerships that add greater value to the client. Three: Showcase highly talented engineers & technical projects through online marketing and social media campaigns. Four: Provide more competitive pricing.
Identity System
Albert A. WEBB Associates has a rich family history in their name; founded by Albert A. Webb in 1955, the firm continues to be held and operated by several members of the Webb family. They felt it was time to showcase the family name as their “logo mark” representing their brand while still paying homage to its founder. I created a logo to match the brand’s position as leaders in the industry while showcasing the history of the WEBB name.
An identity system and style guide was vital to keep WEBB on track to preserve their newly memorable and remarkable brand across all marketing channels.
