About
My experience in graphic arts ranges from 7 1/2 years as Art Director at MGX, Inc., to 8 years as a Art Director at The Vaughan Group. 2 1/2 years as a Senior Designer/Art Director at AlbertA. Webb Associates; and currently I work as a Freelance Designer with CG Creative Studios,
FPC Inc. and RW Designs Inc.
During my career I’ve had the opportunity to consult, manage, direct and design various projects for both mid and high profile brands/clients. Ranging from design work for SKECHERS USA inc. as Art Director on the clothing and lifestyle brand “CITY”; to creating box dies and managing overseas prepress production for Microsoft Corporations first XBOX console system, as well as several Lucas Arts game boxes.
I facilitated all design and marketing items as an “in-house” senior designer/art director, creating and managing a single firms brand and workflow; educating over 200+ employees on the use of graphic standards and managing/training teams of other designers.
On a personal note, I have lived in Southern California for 34 years. I enjoy hiking, camping, mountains and the beach. On the weekends you can generally find me sketching the surrounding landscapes or doing some wood working. (One day I hope to able to recreate colonial furniture using only simple hand tools). I enjoy working with my hands and repairing just about anything; and have a love for music.
